We
must maximize the current tax dollars we are providing
by prioritizing our needs We
must put a greater emphasis on JOB creation - MORE JOBS
= MORE TAXPAYERS We
must expand the existing TAX BASE, so the needed and
desired programs can be provided WITHOUT RAISING TAXES
Part of the problem is our leadership’s
failure to work together in a united effort. We have
had far too much negative and obstructive behavior when
it comes to economic development. It is time for a fresh,
positive, and aggressive leader, who is committed to
working with ALL decision makers, both public and private,
to lead Adams County in the 21st Century. I am that
leader.
As
the ones “footing the bill,” the Taxpayers
of Adams County are entitled to having their concerns
heard by someone who will truly listen to them, and
then make the right decisions based on their input.
When
elected, I will conduct quarterly Citizen Input Meetings,
one at each of the 4 voting precincts in District 2.
The taxpayers of District 2 will have the opportunity
to discuss any issue or concern they may have regarding
County Government and the services provided them.
As
your next Supervisor of District 2, I pledge to be a
Positive voice for the taxpayers of Adams County and
provide Aggressive and Pro-active Leadership.
It is time to secure more job opportunities for our
county. We must expand our tax base, so your taxes are
not raised, or your services not further reduced.
The current Adams County Budget is about $22 million:
- 60.84 mils of Ad Valorem Taxes and
- 58.50 mils of School Taxes
We
all know that Adams County is not the only community
seeking jobs for its citizens! Too much time has been
wasted with infighting. It is time for Adams County
to move forward.
When elected, my
efforts will be focused on...

Our county government must operate just
like you do; WITHIN ITS BUDGET. Joe Joe knows that we
