My Platform... about Jobs

We truly appreciate your support and your vote on Tuesday, November 6th

"I believe in the people of Adams County, and now I am asking you to believe in me. Give me the opportunity to represent you as District 2 Supervisor, and I will help lead our County forward to a more progressive future.”

about JOBS..

"Jobs for Adams County will be my number one priority!"

Let’s do more than just talk about jobs every four
years at election time. I want to roll up my sleeves
and go to work, as a TEAM, to provide positive results. For too long Adams County has been stagnate when it comes to industrial growth. Something is just not right.

Part of the problem is our leadership’s failure to work together in a united effort. We have had far too much negative and obstructive behavior when it comes to economic development. It is time for a fresh, positive, and aggressive leader, who is committed to working with ALL decision makers, both public and private, to lead Adams County in the 21st Century. I am that leader.

While saying “NO” to increased spending is reasonable, it is not the answer we should have when it comes to economic development and job creation. I want to be there to say "YES" to new and better-paying jobs for our citizens. My commitment for the future of Adams County is to provide reasonable, consistent, and sensible leadership. I want Adams County to become the place where everyone who needs and wants a good paying job can find one.

We all know that Adams County is not the only community seeking jobs for its citizens! Too much time has been wasted with infighting. It is time for Adams County to move forward.

When elected, my efforts will be focused on...

COMMITMENT
All elected officials must be COMMITTED to working with ALL decision makers, both public and private, to see that good things begin to happen in Adams County, regardless of who gets the credit.

TEAMWORK
In the effort to bring jobs to our area, it is going to take TEAMWORK from all of our elected leaders. We must present a postitive and unified front when recruiting companies to invest in our county. We must also be prepared to provide the infrastructure needed to secure these prospects.

LEADERSHIP
One is either a part of the problem, or a part of the solution. It is time for a new leader to emerge for the people of Adams County and be a part of the solution to move our county forward.

“I humbly ask for your Consideration, Vote and Support on November 6, 2007. Working together we can unite Adams County for a brighter and more prosperous tomorrow.”
